What a beautiful book and insightful interview! My belly dance class also practices bhangra and bollywood dances; many of us get just as excited about the costuming as we do about the dance. I always love getting henna tattoos too, they are so mesmerizing. My favorite destination I’m looking forward to visiting is Costa Rica! Like Christine, I get a more intimate perspective of the culture and people there because my husband’s family and friends still live there. We hardly do much touring except to visit friends and family, which is really fun, welcoming, and beautiful!

This book looks stunning and makes me want to be in those places. I love the quote she used about color being just the beginning of the story and the details making the story come to life. Looks like an amazing work of art and love compiled into a lovely book.

My husband & I traveled to India in 1972 and spent one month in Hardwar at our teachers ashram and the colors & patterns of your book take me their in an instant! I can hear the sounds of bajans and the smells of food in the air!

I spent a year in India and fell in love with the chaos and Beauty! Her book captures it so well! I would love to have it to remember.. I’m excited about spending a weekend in Cape Cod with my girlfriend this year.
